Our history

The history of PEREZ DEL CASTILLO Lawyers & Notaries, dates back to 1895 when Evangelista Pérez founded the notary office bearing his name. He was known for his professionalism, transparency, and ability to establish strong relationships with his clients.

Over the years, the firm has changed its location in Montevideo several times, but for several decades, it has been situated in the financial and business hub of the city, facing the Presidential Palace and other iconic buildings.

Many professionals have collaborated with the founders in the constant development of the firm, such as Dr. Enrique Alonso y Romeli, Alberto Vázquez Dendi, Guillermo, and Paulina Pérez del Castillo.
